01

What you are doing

You are selecting a HEDGERON engine, start date and capital, then rerunning the fixed strategy over the verified historical dataset.

02

Why it matters

Replay makes assumptions and cycle evidence inspectable. It is stronger than a screenshot, but remains a model of the past.

03

Before you start

Use an eligible starting capital and compare identical periods when judging different engines.

04

Step by step

  1. 01Select Yield, Pace or Active.
  2. 02Choose a supported start and end date.
  3. 03Enter starting capital at or above the engine minimum.
  4. 04Run the exact-engine replay.
  5. 05Verify starting and ending capital.
  6. 06Inspect Max Drawdown, losing cycles, fees, funding and the cycle ledger.
  7. 07Treat 0 liquidations as a fact for that tested run only.
05

What you should see

The result includes a compounding curve, realized balance, equity, closed cycles, drawdown and detailed ledger evidence where available.

06

Security check

Replay uses historical data and does not send exchange orders. Never enter an API secret into Replay inputs.

07

Common problems

A shorter period looks much better

Market regimes differ. Compare multiple windows and the full drawdown path.

Cycle totals differ between summary and ledger

That is a data-integrity defect. Do not rely on the result until reconciled.

Next step

Learn when capital can be reduced or profit can be moved safely.
